Individual and Relationship Therapy
The Journey of Self Discovery and Uncovering Hidden Strengths
I'm "so stressed out!" "Where am I going?" "Who am I?" Do you find yourself trying to manage emotions of anger, anxiety or depression and need the tools to move forward? Exploring career options looking at strengths and abilities? Or perhaps your trying to cope with life transition, relationships, loss, or illness? Our work together will increase resilience and self-acceptance. Therapy can be beneficial whether you are undergoing short-term issues related to stress or crisis or more significant longer-term struggles. Either can interfere with your self-esteem, decision-making, connection with others or inner peace. My goal is to help you regain all of these.
Relationships between friends, family or sexual partners as well as connections with workplace colleagues and employers are common themes in my office. "Getting into" or "getting out of" a relationship, making that commitment, trying to engage with others both personally and professionally, learning from past abuse and control and maintaining self-respect are all familiar issues.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
